The upcoming sequel to the Dragon Age series, subtitled The Veilguard, is currently causing controversy. It is clear that the developers at Bioware want to to please as wide a group of players as possiblewhich may not be to the liking of fans of the older series. The desire to attract as large an audience as possible to the game also has a significant impact on the possibilities in terms of customization and accessibility.
Game director Corinne Boucher told Game Informer that the new Dragon Age will offer three main difficulties. The easiest, called Storytelle, will make combat easier and allow you to focus more on the story. At the same time, we learned that there will also be a “custom” difficulty, which will allow you to adjust individual elements to suit your preferences.
In this setting, the developers allow, for example, to enable automatic aiming, choose the strength of the enemies themselves and their aggressiveness, set various tips when completing tasks, or even enable immortality. According to the authors, individual players will be able to approach the game in detail according to their preferences. Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released this fall on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
