IL-2 Sturmovik series returns

Developers from the 1C Game studio have announced a new part of the Il-2 Sturmovik aircraft series, which experienced its greatest fame at the beginning of the millennium, when the development of several parts was supported by Ubisoft as a publisher. Subsequently, the reins of the series were taken over by the Russian company 1C, which in 2014 released the acclaimed game IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad. Based on it, the authors then created a whole series of extensions. But the developers seem to have made it clear that the time has come a full-fledged new partwhich they entice with the example attached above.

What is certain is that the series usually takes place during World War II. we move on to the korean war, which took place in the first half of the 1950s. From the point of view of the content and gameplay itself, this will mean, first of all, a significantly greater presence of jet aircraft, which the already mentioned trailer attracts. In any case, the developers assure players that they will continue to rely on simulation, realistically redesigned aircraft and believable air battles. PC players will be able to travel to Korea sometime next year.
