Following Ubisoft and THQ Nordic, Xbox has also come on board to confirm participation at Gamescom this year. This year in Cologne the traditional exhibitor is preparing its largest stand in history; last year it was huge and offered more than 30 games and 150 gaming stations.
We don’t know the exact numbers for this year, but Xbox has shared some of the games that will be playable at the show. Specifically, it is a real-time strategy game. Age of Mythology: Retellingrole-playing game Recognized from Obsidian developers, turn-based strategy Macaw: The Untold Storyexpansion with subtitles for Diablo IV. Vessel of Hate2D action Towerborn, Diablo the Immortal, The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76 and expansion War inside for the World of Warcraft. We will learn about other games later.
This year’s Gamescom will take place from August 21 to 25. The fair itself will again be preceded by an Opening Night Live presentation hosted by Geoff Keighley.
