“Shadow of the Erdtree is by no means a perfect addition. This would require having a better ending, a final boss, avoiding technical bugs, repeating some enemies, and maybe adding a bit more extra weapons. However, this does not detract from it significantly, so it is not a worthy “sequel” to the original game and something that its fans should not miss under any conceivable circumstances. Because other than that it’s a great experience. The level design is top notch, and the atmosphere, story expansion, and new weapon categories are simply superb. This 30-hour adventure is definitely worth it, but don’t expect it to do more than “just” add 30 hours to the original game.”
