Developers from the Canadian studio Piranha Games have been working on a continuation of the MechWarrior series in recent years. A game called MechWarrior 5: Clans it will follow the title released in 2021, subtitled Mercenaries, focusing mainly on co-op PvE mode. The sequel, subtitled Clans, on the other hand, will rely on a traditional campaign and can be played in both single-player mode and co-op with up to 4 players.
Representatives of the studio are attracted by the dynamic environment, detailed destruction and detailed graphics, which are taken care of by the latest Unreal Engine. Of course nothing will happen a story from the perspective of a member of the Smoke Jaguar clan and extensive customization options for your own mech.
Thanks to the preview attached above, the authors recently published the exact release date, which was scheduled for October 3 this yearwhen MechWarrior 5: Clans releases on PC and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
