The Redfall Vampire Event was a real mess when it was released. If anyone hoped that their creators could recover, then after the closure of the Arkane Austin studio, all such hopes were abandoned. However, it looks like this first-person shooter will receive a major update before the end of its journey. Yes, you read that right. And what’s surprising is that it won’t bring anything other than the long-awaited offline mode. The studio commented on the situation as follows: “Thanks for all your messages of support. We’re working on our latest update, Game Update 4, which includes an updated neighborhood and nesting system, single-player pause, offline mode, and more. We will provide more details soon. Thank you all.“
One of the reasons there will be an offline mode at all is the fact that Redfall currently requires an online connection even in single-player mode, which is not exactly an ideal situation for a game whose servers may soon be shut down completely. However, whether anyone will pay attention to this work in the future is a question, because it really is not in the best condition and the situation will not simply change. You can find Redfall on PC and Xbox Series X and S consoles.
