As promised, it happened. Ubisoft unveiled the film’s trailer today at 6 p.m. Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The new part of the famous series takes us to feudal Japan. This is what players have wanted for a long time.

However, in addition to the film, there was important first information, presentation of individual publications and premium screenshots.

This time there are two main characters: African samurai Yasuke and shinobi (ninja) Naoe. These two disparate fighters come together to try to unite Japan. Based on the film, we can expect a different fighting style. Yasuke is a tough, fearsome samurai. In battle, use a wide arsenal of weapons – katana, kanabo, bow, naginata and more to attack, block, parry and defeat enemies.

Against him, Naoe is agile, she will attack from the shadows and use starfish, smoke bombs, parkour and a hidden blade, and her rope will come in handy when climbing walls.

The good news is that we can choose who we will play for. The heroes complement each other and for each task we can choose the character we prefer. Each of them has its own progression, characteristics, skills and equipment. It looks like the switching will be random, like in GTA 5.

“Assassin’s Creed Shadows follows the intertwined stories of Naoe, a skilled shinobi assassin from Iga Province, and Yasuke, a powerful African samurai from historical legend. Against the backdrop of the turbulent late Sengoku period, this remarkable couple discovers their shared destiny, heralding a new era for Japan.” Ubisoft reports this.

The French company beckons you into the fascinating open world of feudal Japan, from magnificent castle towns and bustling harbors to peaceful shrines and pastoral landscapes. Here we have experience an adventure with unpredictable weather, changing seasons and a reactive environment. Judging by the first photos, it will snow too.

We must remember this information is our weapon. “Travele the world, explore and explore your surroundings to gain important information. Create a network of spies, who will be your eyes and ears in different locations to discover new areas and hunt down your next target. Along the way, recruit several allies with highly specialized skills and abilities to help you complete your missions.” courtesy of Ubisoft.

We will see gameplay footage on June 10 at the Ubisoft Forward presentation.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on November 15 this year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S at a price of 70 euros. Unfortunately, Czech subtitles are not listed among the supported languages..

For pre-order Ubisoft promises Bonus quest Abandoned to the Dogs. Owners of the Gold Edition (€110) and Ultimate Edition (€130) will be able to start the game three days earlier and can look forward to two story expansions as part of the Season Pass and an additional mission at launch. Then there’s the Collector’s Edition. It will be available in limited quantities at select retailers.
