Back in the days of the Xbox One, Microsoft stopped reporting sales of its consoles and games. Microsoft admitted that sales of its Xbox hardware division fell 31% over the same three months.
With this information, analyst Daniel Ahmad of Niko Partners believes that PS5 performed five times better than Xbox Series X/S consoles in the first quarter of 2024. Ampere Analysis estimates that the spread will increase to 3:1 for PS5 by 2023. The gap between PlayStation and Xbox seems to be constantly widening.
