Beat Saber support for the first Meta Quest – INDIAN will end this year

If you are among the owners of the first version of the headset Meta quest and you play Defeat Saber, then I don’t have good news for you. Czech studio Bit games announced its intention to stop supporting its rhythmic hit.

Beat Saber support for Meta Quest 1 will end on 11/02/2024. Fortunately, after this date. you can continue the game, but will not have multiplayer and will not receive any updates. In the future, the leaderboard will be removed and customer support will not be available, read the FAQ.

The reason for this decision is to be able to focus more on other, newer versions. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade to a newer VR headset. The developers also remind you that the base game and all additional packs purchased are linked to player accountstherefore, the transition between the Meta Quest and Rift platforms should be smooth.

Beat Saber was originally released in 2019 for PC (Steam VR and Oculus VR) and later expanded to PlayStation VR and PlayStation VR2. Judging by the sentiment on social networks, many fans continue to play Meta Quest 1.
