Tomb Raider received an improved version for PC

Developers from the studio Crystal Dynamics released a reboot of the Tomb Raider series in 2013, which was later followed by two more parts in the form of Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The mentioned part of 2013 was first released on PC and PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. A year later, the game received. improved version with subtitle Definitive Edition, which was intended for the recently released PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The definitive edition of the game featured some graphical improvements that were never updated to the PC version.

Now the situation is changing exactly 10 years after its release. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition unexpectedly and without any warning released on PC via Microsoft Store. However, the enhanced version is not yet available on Steam, GOG or the Epic Games Store. Even the developers themselves have not yet given an explanation for the entire rather strange situation. At least you can see a comparison between the original and final editions below.
