The new part of the MechWarrior series from Piranha Bytes is marked with a new trailer

Developers from the German studio Piranha Bytes published new gameplay trailer from the upcoming game MechWarrior 5: Clans. Although the title suggests that this is just an expansion of the fifth volume, released in 2021, the authors themselves describe Clans as a standalone game.

Additionally, MechWarrior 5: Clans has more attention to history and a traditional single-player campaign that takes you to the year 3050, during the so-called Clan Invasion. The developers also offer hand-crafted missions and maps, or advanced tactical options on the giant mech battlefields themselves.

MechWarrior 5: Clans will be released later this year on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. In addition, the new preview indicates that development of the game is continuing, despite the financial problems of the Piranha Bytes studio itself, which we informed you about earlier this year.
