Less than a month ago, a rather unexpected release of a collection called “STALKER: Legends of the Zone” was released. It offers all three parts of this famous post-apocalyptic series published so far. in versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which are available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S via backwards compatibility. Before the appearance of the above-mentioned collection, STALKER was only available on PC.
However, the premiere on consoles was not without certain technical problems. Players mainly complained about glitches in the game and overall stability. These problems are with developers tried to fix it in the first major update, which is already available. However, it should be noted that so far only the first part with the subtitle “Shadow of Chernobyl” has been corrected. The remaining two parts should soon receive similar improvements. In addition, the authors reported that they are planning further updates that will focus on optimization and bug fixes.
