Microsoft – INDIAN will support the authors of Spyro and Crash in the development of a new game

California studio Toys for Bob earlier this month split from Activision Blizzard to create its own games. One might assume that the creators of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time got tired of working on Call of Duty (they worked on Warzone, Modern Warfare 2 and 3).

But they parted ways with Microsoft as the owner of Activision Blizzard. This is evidenced by the establishment of cooperation in the development of the first independent game. The head of Toys for Bob himself mentioned a possible collaboration. According to Windows Central’s Jazz Corden, the deal has already been signed.

Toys for Bob’s goal is to return to the style of games the studio enjoys and retain the team. We can probably look forward to another Xbox-supported platformer. But it’s too early to talk about details.

Toys for Bob was founded in 1989 and purchased by Activision in 2005. Previously, she created Star Control, Pandemonium and The Unholy War. Then the Skylanders series and the aforementioned return of Crash and Spyro.
