Developers from the Czech studio Zima Software have announced a new part of the famous adventure series Polda. Specifically, this is a full-fledged eighth part, for the development of which the authors will try to raise money through crowdfunding, following the example of the seventh part and the recently released remaster of the second part. In a recently launched campaign on the Hithit platform, she was the main target. fixed amount CZK 1,088,888. At the time of publication of the news, when only a few hours had passed since the launch of the campaign, almost 600,000 crowns had already been collected.
At the same time, the authors promised that if they manage to collect another 200,000 crowns more than the main goal, the players they will see a separate additional adventure, which will offer 5-7 backstories and fill the hole in the history between Polda 5 and Polda 6. As for Polda 8 itself, according to the authors, it will close the story of the main character Pankratz. In addition to this iconic character for the series, who is set to be voiced again by actor Ludek Sobota, the new episode will also feature Monica and a completely new character.
You will be able to play as all three of these characters. In the video attached above, the author of the series, Peter Svoboda, once again addresses the brand characteristic cartoon graphics, the presence of Czech realities and omnipresent humor. From a plot point of view, the authors settled on a classic detective story in the style of old parts, which will mean a departure from the world of celebrities. The Hittite campaign will last until April 26.
