The deteriorating situation in the video game market is leading to new layoffs. They have to say goodbye to 20% of their colleagues in the American studio Deck ninewhere Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Life is Strange: True Colors, Life Is Strange: Remastered Collection and most recently The Expanse: A Telltale Series were created.

Before this change, the studio reportedly employed between 100 and 130 people. In addition to layoffs, the company began salary cuts. Otherwise, even more people will be laid off.

“These people are exceptional, talented and fantastic developers. They have done a tremendous amount of work during our time at Deck Nine Games, and we did not take this decision lightly. Hire these people if you can, they are fantastic.” CEO Stefan Frost writes about this. He also complains about the state of the gaming industry, which he blames for layoffs.
