Developed by Greenheart Games, the studio behind Game developer tycoonthey have a reason to be very happy. Their new name Tavern Keeperfantasy simulator of running your own pub, just three days after release, received an extremely positive review on Steam. After eleven years of work, according to co-founder Daniel Klug, it was an emotional moment – he admitted that he cried with emotion after reading the first rave reviews.
Players especially praise the detailed pub management, humor, vibrant world, and visible care that the developers put into the project. Klug said in an interview that this reception far exceeded their expectations and was extremely encouraging after such a long development. In addition, the studio emphasizes that it is planning additional content and improvements based on community feedback, which may lead to Tavern Keeper deliver one of the nicest indie surprises this year.
