Finnish studio Remedy released Survival Horror Alan Wake 2 last October, which also has two story DLCs planned for this year, but has many more projects in development. Although we still know most of them only by codes or relatively common names, the situation has now changed. RespawnFirst magazine reported that the company registered a new trademark on January 8th.
This particular title is FBC: Firebreak, which makes it relatively easy to decipher what the title is. The FBC refers to the Federal Bureau of Control, an agency that investigates and combats paranormal phenomena. Firebreak then refers to the section that separates the two areas in the Oldest House (the FBC headquarters) and is thus intended to prevent potential paranormal beings from escaping.
It’s relatively likely that this is the final name of the game we know as Project Condor, a co-op multiplayer spin-off of Control about which we know virtually nothing other than this rather vague description and first art. In any case, it was announced as early as June 2021, and during the last earnings call we learned that it was in the “production ready” stage and would soon enter full production, or may already be in it.
