Released in 1996, the second part of The Elder Scrolls series, subtitled Daggerfall, received a fan remake. The new version, based on the Unity engine, has been in development for almost 10 years by developer Gavin Clayton, who recently announced the completion of the project and the release of version 1.0.
Despite the formal completion, the game should receive further improvements in the future with the help of the community. You can download the unofficial remake of The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall for free on GitHub.
