The first details about the upcoming AAA game from the former developers of The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077, who after leaving CD Projekt founded their own studio called Rebel Wolves, have leaked onto the Internet. The team, founded less than two years ago, is led by the game director of the third Witcher. Konrad Tomaszkiewiczwhich other former CD Projekt members have gradually joined in recent months.
According to a recently published leak coming from an insider with the nickname Kourakasisthe game will be called Dawnwalker: Origins. In terms of genre, it would be a story-driven RPG set in a completely new fantasy universe with dark undertones. The game is focused solely on single player play and will be released on PC and consoles. The insider further reports that the studio plans to create an entire saga and revolutionize the role-playing game genre.
But within that framework, Dawnwalker: Origins should offer a slightly more tame experience compared to the third Witcher, which compared to On Wine and Blood data disc sizes. Currently, development should enter the alpha phase. The studio itself, which is expected to employ about 100 developers, is financially supported by the publishing house NetEase.
