The developers of Total War: Pharaoh will return money to players

At the moment, the latest part of the Total War series, subtitled “Pharaoh,” was met with very mixed reactions upon release. Apart from the quality and features of the game itself, players complained mainly about the price, set at 60 euros. More than two months have passed since release developers from Creative Assembly studio apologize and I’m trying to fix the situation.

This was first announced by studio vice president Roger Collum in a message on the game’s official website. immediate price reduction to 40 euros. He also said that players who purchased Total War: Pharaoh at the old price will receive 20 euros back in their Steam wallets, which is the difference between the current and previous price.

At the same time, the studio management also apologized for speaking too loudly. critically acclaimed expansion Shadows of Change for Total War: Warhammer III, released at the end of August. Even so, players blamed the developers mainly for the limited content combined with an ambitious price tag. Collum announced that the studio would focus on improvements to this addon, which is expected to receive a major free update in February next year. However, in this case, players will not receive a price reduction or partial refund.
