Baldur’s Gate 3 is without much debate one of the standout games of the year. Although it is an excellent piece of work, it can be said that it is not perfect, as its creators know, and that is why they are still working on it, trying to get it as close as possible to a state in which it can be described as a polished diamond. This is proven, among other things, by the recently released patch 5, which, as developers usually do, is part of a comprehensive update that improves this gem in most major aspects. One of its driving forces is the presence of an Epilogue, which deals more with what happened after the end of the main storyline. Optimization has also been improved on PC and PS5.
If you found Baldur’s Gate 3 too easy on the hardest difficulty setting, you have the option to spice up your gameplay with Honor Mode and Custom Mode. The first one presented will give you only one opportunity to complete the entire quest. The second option allows you to create a form of demandingness for yourself. The full look of the fifth patch can be seen here. If this continues, we won’t even know Baldur’s Gate 3 next year.
