Popular racing video game series Trackmania celebrates its 20th anniversary. Publisher Ubisoft is celebrating the first game’s November 21, 2023 release by adding new content to the current installment of 2020.
Trackmania will now gradually recall the history of the franchise with a gradual change in the game environment. Moreover, the celebrations are definitely not short-term in nature – we will see the last season no earlier than next year with the onset of summer. However, winter is approaching now, so perfect time for snow to return.
The first part of the holiday not only brings new campaign containing 15 tracksbut also turns a classic formula into a snow blower. According to Ubisoft, the game should feel like it was played in 2003, but with modern elements. The update also added a new road surface – wooden – and added 100 new 3D blocks and items for track builders.
New content currently available as well enriched with special events – the promotion is already accompanied by a “Track of the Day” and a “Cup of the Day”. On the last day of November, Ubisoft News has prepared a live broadcast from the Cup of the Day, which will take place at 17:30 our time, and will feature Trackmania producer Augustin De Vita and content manager Ayrton Lemaire.
The next campaign, i.e. “Rally”, will be launched in the spring of next year, namely 1/4, and “Desert Adventure” as part of the Desert season will not appear until 1/7.
Trackmania is available for PC and the last two generations of PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
