Developers from CD Projekt RED studio officially they announced the long-rumored definitive edition of Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition confirmed will be released on December 5 in physical and digital versions on PC and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. In addition to the base game, the edition will also include the Phantom Liberty expansion, released in September.
However, CD Projekt community manager Marcin Momot on social network X indicated Interesting difference between individual versions. While the Xbox Series X/S boxed version will offer the base game and Phantom Liberty DLC across multiple discs, the PlayStation 5 version will only physically contain the original game. Players will need to download the aforementioned Phantom Liberty DLC in its entirety using the included code. At the moment, the developers have not specified the reasons for such a difference between the console versions.
