Some time ago, filming of a new film from the Resident Evil series began. Filmmakers in recent weeks they also visited the Czech Republicwhere part of the filming will take place. Last month, for example, there was talk of moving filmmakers into the premises of the former railway tunnel under the walls in Litoměřice.
Now, for a change, several photos of sets have appeared on the Internet, which they came from Prague. In particular, we are talking about street spaces near the Florenc bus station, which the filmmakers temporarily transformed into the environment of a city in Colorado, USA. In addition to several realities governed by signs and machines, it is worth mentioning the chosen winter environment.
“Yes, this is the largest film project filmed in the Czech Republic this year,” Pavlina Zipkova, head of the department of the Czech Film Commission of the State Audiovisual Fund, some time ago confirmed the filming of the film “Resident Evil”, without specifying details.
film “Resident Evil” hits theaters September 18 2026. But before that, fans of the brand will receive a full-fledged new game called Resident Evil Requiem, which will be released on February 27 on PC and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
