Host Geoff Keighley presented all the nominations for this year’s gaming awards – The Game Awards – in a short video on Monday night. Nominations in a total of 31 categories were selected by an expert jury consisting of more than 100 gaming media from around the world. In this article we will discuss the most interesting categories, but you can view them all on the official website, where you can also vote. Viewer votes carry 10% weight and jury votes carry 90% weight in choosing the winner. The main show will take place December 8 at 1:30 morning Central European time.
Game of the Year
The grand prize is awarded to the game that offers the best experience both creatively and technically. Nominees:

Another important category is the Best Game Direction award, which recognizes outstanding creative vision and innovation in direction and game design. The nominations are as follows:
