Until now, the next-gen update of The Sorcerer 3, which was mainly worked on by Saber Interactive, was expected to be released in the second quarter of this year. CD Projekt RED announced this date last fall, but have now come up with a different announcement. The Polish creators decided to take the reins of development from Saber Interactive for unspecified reasons. and the rest of the next generation upgrade work is done in person directly on the RED Project CD. However, this change leads postponement of the issue from the second quarter of 2022 indefinitely.
We have decided that the rest of the work on the next generation version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be handled by our in-house development team. We are currently evaluating the amount of work that needs to be done and are therefore forced to delay the release of Q2 until further notice. 1/2
