The Genesis Thor 404 TKL is a new mechanical keyboard that combines the features of its predecessor with new solutions, and thanks to new switches, creating a product ideal for both beginners and seasoned professionals. Users can choose between Gateron Yellow Pro linear-mechanical switches and Kailh Box Brown V2 universal switches. Additionally, both versions are available in white or black.
According to the manufacturer, Gateron Yellow Pro switches have a lifespan of 60 million clicks, ideal dynamics, and an actuation distance of 2 mm at a pressure of 50 g. Kailh Box Brown V2 switches, on the contrary, are characterized by a pronounced actuation point and exceptional flexibility. These switches stand out from the crowd with 80 million click durability and 2mm actuation distance at 55g pressure.
Importantly, the keyboard uses Hot-Swap technology, which allows you to replace the stock switches with any 5-pin mechanical switches, including switches from companies such as Cherry MX, Kailh and many others. The Genesis Thor 404 TKL keyboard also features advanced stabilizers and high-quality lubrication to ensure a better gaming feel and precision in any situation.
Compared to its predecessor, the Thor 404 TKL features a fully enclosed, non-floating keyboard cover that ensures the keyboard and keys are always stable. Moreover, it is an ideal choice for users who like their device to be quiet. According to the manufacturer, the volume of the keys is extremely small thanks to a special foam hidden inside. In addition, it is worth noting that the new keyboard includes specialized software for creating hotkeys, macros and customizing LED RGB backlighting.
