Writer Alan Wake’s character from the 2010 video game of the same name was recently added to the popular battle royale game Fortnite, which is getting its anticipated sequel next Friday. It is no coincidence that the remaster of the first and second parts is published by Epic Games, so closer cooperation makes sense. But it’s not just about the character.
Today we learned that a new map called Alan Wake: Flashback was created in collaboration with developers from Remedy, Spiral House and Zen Creative. In it we will take on the role of a Fortnite character, following the events of the first part. It’s a pretty attractive way to remember history. You can find the map using code 3426-5561-3374.
Otherwise, I’d like to remind you that I’m currently preparing a second special episode about the entire Remedy Connected universe (the first one, focusing mainly on Control, can be found here), where I want to focus on Alan Wake. If all goes according to plan, the game should be released before Alan Wake 2.
It will be released on October 27 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
