A few days ago we finally received the announcement of the release date of the isometric role-playing game The Thaumaturge. Behind this is the Polish studio Fool’s Theory, which is also currently working on a remake of the first The Witcher.
The action of “The Miracle Worker” takes place in an alternative Warsaw of the last century, when the Polish metropolis was under the rule of the Russian Empire. The main character Victor is the so-called Miracle Worker, who can control ethereal beings called Salitors, thanks to which he can, for example, manipulate people’s thoughts. The title combines elements of detective fiction, classic isometric RPG, and turn-based timeline combat. We tried out this unique combination at Gamescom in August, and our impressions can be found here.
In the meantime, you can watch the new trailer, in any case, the important information is that the game will be released. 5th of December, but for now only on PC. The game will also be released on consoles, but will not be available until early 2024.
Either way, if you’re playing on PC, you won’t even have to wait until December. Steam Next Fest is happening right now, and you can already try out the demo version as part of it, until October 16th.
