Developers CD Projekt have released a new preview trailer for the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, highlighting the triumphant verdicts and positive numerical ratings in reviews. Separately sold DLC tested much calmer start than the original game, which at one time was loudly criticized for its poor technical condition, especially on the latest generation of consoles.
From the point of view of game aggregators, with Phantom Liberty has a rating of 87% on Metacritic and 89% on OpenCritic. The reception was equally positive on Steam, where 88% of players rated the expansion positively. In our review, we gave the game 9/10 with the following verdict:
“A spy story full of unexpected twists, non-black and white characters and missions with varied content. Phantom Liberty also includes a patch that fixes a number of issues that plagued the release of Cyberpunk 2077. Even with a few remaining crashes, the expansion is a poignant reminder of what the game might have looked like in the early days.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is available on PC (Steam, GOG), as well as on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
