The South Korean company Neowiz, in collaboration with developers from the Round 8 studio, released the Lies of P event in mid-September. The game thanks to its dark setting and emphasis on the combat system mostly soul fans watchedwho in the end were not disappointed with the result.
The recently released praise trailer highlights the positive reviews. The average rating of the game on aggregator Metacritic is slightly above 80%. On Steam the game can even boast a rating of 87%. In our review, we gave Lies of P an 8/10 with the following verdict:
“Lies of P is a quality mix of Sekira and Bloodborne, set in a beautiful setting. While it offers a few firsts in the gameplay department, it’s not revolutionary. However, it is a very fun RPG. Especially the design of the enemies and the atmosphere of the city of Krat will remain in your memory for many years. So for a fan of these types of games, Lies of P is definitely worth it.”
The game is available on PC, as well as on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
