The best days of Dungeon Crawlers are long gone. However, this does not mean that some series representing this particular group of games are completely forgotten. Magic could tell about it. This CPPG brand has a total of eight games, but its new installment has not appeared on any of the major platforms since some Friday. But now it looks like she might be back after all. A remake of Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord has been released. If you’re surprised that the game is missing a number, it’s not. That’s because it’s a 3D remake of the very first installment of this IP, so with a little luck, this might just be the first of a series of works to come our way in the coming years.
Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord is out in Early Access on PC. The creators want to exit this development stage by the end of 2024.
Waiting for the original #Magic everything is over! The Mad Overlord’s Proving Ground has returned after 20 years of absence. Test your strength in the original role-playing game! Our 3D remake is available NOW in Early Access on GOG and Steam! https://t.co/wcs0GgP1C9 https://t.co/xRNGai463E pic.twitter.com/kM5JOu2udI
