In June, we received the first gameplay preview of the upcoming survival horror game Alan Wake 2 from the Finnish studio Remedy. However, the developers showed only a short part of the game for the Anderson Saga, an FBI agent investigating murders in the city of Bright Falls and its environs. She is one of only two playable characters and should make up roughly half of the story, however Remedy has mostly focused marketing solely on her so far. However, this will soon change.
Host Geoff Keighley he announcedthat his Opening Night Live show, which precedes Gamescom in Cologne, will once again feature Alan Wake 2. But this time, we’re looking straight into the Dark Place behind the imprisoned writer. The event is scheduled for August 22 at 20:00 Moscow time.
Alan Wake is in a dark place…don’t miss out on a brand new discovery from @alanwake 2 live in time @games.com Premiere live on Tuesday, August 22.

This isn’t the only time Alan Wake 2 will be featured at Gamescom. Remedy has also prepared a new demo version, which, however, will not be available on the show floor or in the business section, but in a completely separate location outside the exhibition center and only for journalists. In any case, I can tell you that if you follow our Gamescom reports, you will definitely not leave empty-handed.
Alan Wake 2 releases on October 17 this year. Coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
All about our demo of Alan Wake 2 Dark Place. Doing it a little differently than we’ve done demos for the last few games. He is very surly (surprise :D) and you will trip over some revelations. We have many surprises left. #alanwijk2 #AlanWijk
