Game companies choose different paths within the monetization policy. However, in the case of Diablo 4, it looks like the battle pass will not be the most generous here. While in Fortnite or other free-to-play games, you can indeed get enough in-game currency through the Battle Pass to buy another “ticket”, unfortunately there is nothing like that in Blizzard’s new game. During your journey to level 84, when you actually unlock all the bonuses, you will only get 666 pieces of platinum, which is really low.
The volume is so small that you can’t buy much in Diablo 4. In fact, even the cheapest game item is unlikely to be enough for you, which of course is not entirely correct. Most similar games offer players a lot more options in this regard, which is why a certain percentage of the community has already spoken out. Overall, it looks like Blizzard didn’t design the Premium Battle Pass very well, as the currency earned with it not only doesn’t allow you to buy a lot of things, it also doesn’t unlock another Battle Pass, leaving you with no choice but to pull out your wallet next time.
The Battle Pass gives you 666 Platinum. The cheapest item in the store costs 800 platinum.
