Ubisoft changes plans for the game XDefiant. The free-to-play arena shooter was planned to be released on PC, as well as current and past generation consoles. About social media developers they announcedWhat Versions for PS4 and Xbox One will come later.. However, we do not yet know exactly when it will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The introduction should continue to apply throughout this summer.
The decision to delay the release of XDefiant to older and significantly weaker non-SSD equipped consoles was made based on feedback from a recent open session, an open test for all interested parties. But we don’t know how much later multiplayer will be available on PS4 and Xbox One. Ubisoft intends to share information later.
The launch of the first season of XDefiant will be preceded by a six-week season prep to get things sorted out. This will be followed by the first season and planned content for the first year. It will include: 4 new playable factions, 12 new weapons and 12 new maps. XDefiant pits factions from Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Watch Dogs and The Division or Far Cry 6 against each other.
