Last week, developer Insomniac Games released a new story trailer for the much-anticipated PlayStation exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Preview she focused on introducing various characters led by Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Venom or Mary Jane. It was Mary Jane Watson and her appearance that became the subject of quite a lot of discussion among the players.
Fans have noted a noticeable change in Mary Jane’s appearance in the original 2018 game and in the upcoming sequel. Some of the players criticized the new look of Mary Jane and felt that the authors chose a different actress for the second part. Only Insomniac creative director James Stevenson had to calm down the passions, who he revealedWhat Mary Jane is played by the same actress in both plays. (Laura Bailey), and there has been no change in this direction.
Stevenson also revealed in an ongoing discussion with fans on Twitter that all the faces were rewritten from scratch for the second volume. For this reason, he says, certain natural changes can be seen. The result should be more detailed faces and models that should more closely match the appearance of the real actors.
