In March of this year, we saw the long-awaited remake of the fourth Resident Evil, which originally came out in 2005 and is one of the most popular entries in the entire series. In our review, it received 9 points out of 10, and was also warmly received by the players. The sales game is no less good. So far, the latest data has come from the beginning of April, when the game already sold 4 million copies. But now the name has passed another milestone.

Capcom revealed that the RE4 remake has already sold 5 million copies in 119 days. As he reports on Twitter Alex Aniel, the eighth volume, subtitled Village, reached that limit in just 173 days. So far, the remake of the four is only faster than the fifth, which reached 5 million copies sent to stores in less than three months, but with exact sales it is somewhat more difficult. Either way, it’s likely that RE4 Remake will be able to break into the top 5 in the coming months.
