Ever since survival horror was announced Alan Wake 2 from the Finnish studio Remedy, the creators provide us with some very impressive concepts from development. They accompanied the presentation of the game at the recent event Summer Game Fest Play Days or the first two development diaries. However, some of the more interesting concepts have so far only been available in low resolution., in which they were published by foreign media invited to the Summer Game Fest Play Days, or somewhere on the walls and tables in the Remedy offices. Luckily it’s here Juhani Jokinen, who is a senior concept artist at Remedy. Yokinen these concepts published in social networks in full growth.
Players who have already purchased the original Alan Wake will probably immediately be interested images that invite you to the woods around Bright Falls and Cauldron Lake. In short, the developers have prepared a very familiar environment for Saga, although the concepts indicate a darker atmosphere. This is no doubt due to the shift in the genre from the psychological, and essentially more action-thriller that the first part was, to the survival horror that Alan Wake 2 has to offer.
But let’s not forget about Alan himself, whom we will of course play in the same way as in the second part, and who is still imprisoned in the Dark Place. While the concept of the rooftops of this twisted version of New York is familiar, the lesser-known image of the charismatic writer in the rain on a street full of parked cars, this looks more like Max Payne 2 from 2003 than Alan Wake 2. And that doesn’t bother us at all.
