They work in Eidos Montreal on the new god out? Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier said last November that the game was in a very, very early stage of development. This May, job postings mentioned a new project with co-op, leveling, leveling, crafting and Unreal Engine 5. Could it be Deus Ex?
Maybe so, but she doesn’t know anything about him. Elias Toufexis. The voice of Adam Jensen, the protagonist of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, says that he has not yet received an offer related to the new Deus Ex. So it’s not even about the NDA.
Yes, as happy as I am to be busy, I would like to be even more busy with the new Deus Ex.
I don’t have an NDA for Deus Ex because no one has called me about it. Really. https://t.co/eup2dSst1r— 𝕩𝕖𝕚𝕖𝕖𝕖 𝕩𝕚𝕚𝕖 𝖖 (@EliasToufexis) July 8, 2023
Toufexis’ report cannot contradict Schreier’s information. If the new Deus Ex is indeed in the very, very early stages of development, then perhaps a voice actor has not yet been invited to the project.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was released in 2016. Eidos Montréal has since changed ownership along with the rights to Deus Ex. bought by the Swedish Embracer Group from Square Enix, as well as from Crystal Dynamics and Tomb Raider. In addition to Deus Ex, developers may be working on a new brand that ads for a co-op RPG may refer to.
The question is whether the energy-saving Embracer mod was thrown into the plans of Eidos. Shares in the Swedish company fell more than 40% in May after an unnamed $2 billion collaboration fell through. The result was a restructuring program that aims to create a leaner, stronger, more focused and self-sufficient company. However, this will not be done without mass layoffs, the closure of some development studios (some studios will be sold), and the cancellation of upcoming projects.
