Looking at the trailer and the first pictures of you clockwork revolution we are connected with Bioshock Infinity. New from inXile Entertainment reminds us of the famous first-person action game with a steampunk aesthetic and an atmosphere reminiscent of the city of Columbia. Avalon is also a city of suits and rails.
The BioShock Infinite clone sticker was understandably not liked by Wasteland 3’s writers. Head of Development Chad Moore points to two other games on Twitter. According to him, Clockwork Revolution is a descendant of Arcanum: Steamworks and Magick Obscura and Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines.. This is due to the detailed world, addictive story, solid RPG system, addictive gameplay, and massive response.
The inspiration from these old games is not accidental. Moore himself worked on them from 1999 to 2004 at the Troika Games studio. He contributed to the story, content, and character designs. Clockwork Revolution’s lead designer is Jason Anderson, who also worked on Arcanum, one of the best steampunk RPGs of all time.

Clockwork Revolution will take players to a bright metropolis of Avalon during the Victorian era. Steam locomotives fly overhead, wealthy industrialists replace limbs with mechanical prostheses, and mechanical servants fulfill their masters’ every wish. However, this new age of miracles hides dark secret. It was created by the ruthless Lady Ironwood. Using a time travel device, she changed key moments in Avalon’s history. As a result, the working class lives in the slums and factories, accumulating great wealth and power.
And, as usual, it’s up to you to uncover her plans and thwart them. Luckily, you will have at your disposal a device known as the Chronometer, which will allow you to to travel in timeinfluence the past, and then return to the present and experience the consequences of their decisions.
Clockwork Revolution is in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will be available on Game Pass on the day of release. Judging by the first trailer, the game will appear at the right time.
