Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will not have Czech language

Since the morning we have been looking into the situation with Czech subtitles at the event. Avatar: Pandora’s Limits. Czech localization was listed among the supported languages on Monday when the game received a more detailed presentation at Ubisoft Forward 2023.

Of course, we immediately reported this, but gradually began to discover inconsistencies. First, we found out that Czech subtitles are only displayed in the Ubisoft Store version for our market. Also, when we contacted Cenega Czech this morning, who recently took over the distribution of Ubisoft games on our premises, we only received information that they are waiting for information directly from Ubisoft.

We await clarification on this information directly from Ubisoft. said Dragoslava Vesecka of Cenegy to Indian this morning. Now, as Vortex’s Jiří Bigas noted, even the Ubisoft Store doesn’t mention the Czech language anymore.

We don’t want to paint the devil on the wall because hope dies last… But everything points to the fact that information about czech subtitles was a mistake. The Ubisoft Store admin just clicked. Previously, 15 languages were represented. Now there are 13 of them. In addition to Czech subtitles, there are no Dutch subtitles..

Meanwhile, Indian was looking for information about the Czech localization of Avatar on his axis and did not receive positive news from reliable sources. People familiar with Ubisoft (non-)localizations know nothing and are inclined to believe that Avatar will not have Czech subtitles. At least not in an official way.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will release on December 7, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
