The new Prince of Persia puts on the lost crown

Ubisoft Forward unveiled the first gameplay footage from Prince of Persia The Lost Crown and we saw what we can really expect from a game – a 2D platformer full of action, graceful jumps and battles, combined with great time travel. There is also a new trailer which you can find here.

The Prince series opens with a new chapter in which you take on the role of Sargon, the youngest member of the Immortals, on a mission to save your life. Prince Hassan and return it to Persepolis.

You have to explore various corners of the cursed land and uncover its hidden secrets. Some places are impossible to get to unless you improve your skills and learn how to use the right moments to overcome obstacles.

That the past and the future intertwine and coexist together, you will gradually begin to discover, just like existence magic and use it to achieve your goals. The time control element has also returned, which will also be used by your enemies. You can use it both in combat and while exploring the world.

All in all, this game offers a phenomenal experience and will be a truly worthy return to its roots. Whether she will actually succeed remains to be seen, but she is ready for it.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be released on January 18, 2024. We will be able to play it on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
