The massive overhaul of Ubisoft’s distribution network in Europe brings the first major changes. Ubisoft has closed its office in Poland to cut costs. Now we have learned that the games will now be handled by local residents Senega.

The changes will also affect our market. In addition to Poland, Cenega will also distribute Ubisoft games in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.. Prior to this change in our country, Ubisoft games were split between Conquest and Playman.

The change already applies to upcoming games in the form Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, Avatar: Pandora’s Limits, Crew Motorfest And Skull and Bones.

“We are thrilled to be working together to distribute established brands such as the games in the Ubisoft portfolio,” said Marek Chirzynski, CEO of Cenega SA

Cenega also takes care of games from Bethesda Softworks, Bandai Namco Entertainment, SEGA, Square Enix, Capcom, Take-Two Interactive or Warner Bros. in our market.

According to available information, it will be Cenega responsible only for distribution of the gamemarketing, PR (media relations) and support will continue to be managed by Ubisoft.

Interestingly, years later, Ubisoft games are returned to Cenegy, which managed them in Poland until 2008. At that time, Ubisoft opened its branch in Poland.
