Sonic Frontiers was definitely not one of the most anticipated projects. But in the end, the fan community turned out to be very strong. While few expected this a few months ago, the piece eventually sold over 3.5 million copies across multiple platforms. This made it the best-selling member of the 3D Sonic series, which has been Sonic Heroes so far. There is no doubt that Sonic Frontiers sales will continue to grow, so they will probably reach at least another one to two million in the coming years. However, the creators definitely deserve success, because their work shows the joy and desire to give the fans of this brand the very best.
The presentation of this information took place during a PR action, where, among other things, it was also revealed that possible sequels are expected to receive a significantly larger budget.
