It is confirmed by GamesRadar, who stated that the game does not live up to the standards set by the studio’s previous titles; Redfall appears to have been released in a rush, in an unfinished state. On the other hand, the title is praised for its colorful characters and many humorous moments.
Redfall has a rather negative rating on Steam at the time of writing. Only 28% of 406 users rated the game positively. The biggest criticism is directed at bad optimization. A first-person shooter should run poorly even at 1080p with an Intel Core i9-9900K processor, GeForce RTX 2080 Super graphics card, and 35GB of RAM.
No wonder that The Xbox Series X/S does not have a 60fps performance mode.. This should come later as a free update.
