star Wars is back as Epic Battle Royale reintroduces lightsabers along with a host of cosmetic skins like Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul, and Padmé, along with the ability to learn different power abilities during matches. There’s a lot to break with this new Fortnite update, so sit back because we’ve got it all below.
As mentioned, without a doubt, the biggest addition to the Fortnite Star Wars update is the return of lightsabers. You will need plenty of Fortnite V-Bucks for all of the available skin and cosmetic packs.
There is a selection of Fortnite Star Wars lightsabers in blue, green, red, and purple, and Darth Vader, Rey, Luke, Kylo Ren, Mace Windu, and Obi-Wan will be getting their exclusive lightsabers in-game with this update. The Star Wars DC-15 and E-11 blasters are also back with this update.
The Fortnite map is also changing as several Rift locations have been added where you can train with Power Wielders to gain power during a match. Darth Maul teaches Force Throw, Obi-Wan teaches Force Push, and Anakin Skywalker teaches Force Throw. These aren’t the only power abilities, as lightning, climbing, jumping, and more are also available on the island.
The Fortnite Star Wars event will also feature a “Find the Power” mini-pass of sorts, which includes various Fortnite skins for clone troopers and Darth Maul. However, it’s also worth checking out the Fortnite store, as some of these skins can be purchased on their own outside of the 1000 V-Bucks galactic reputation reward ladder. Don’t forget you have free and premium event tickets available through May 23.
