Sony buys Firewalk Studios, founded by Bungie veterans

Sony announced the purchase Firewalk Studios. Thus, the team of approximately 150 people becomes the 20th in PlayStation Studios. The developers previously entered into a strategic partnership with Sony to bring a AAA multiplayer game to PS5 And PC.

PlayStation expands group of own developers live multiplayer game service. These include, among others, the online version of The Last of Us, a game from Haven Studios, and projects by Deviation Games and Bungie. According to Hulst, some of them may appear directly on PC in addition to PS5.
