An important step was taken last night to fix some of the biggest issues in The Last of Us Part 1 PC version. Naughty Dog has released a new update with significant improvements and fixes for about 40 bugs found in the game.
The main focus of the patch is performance improvements and bug fixes, which affected the performance of Joel and Ellie’s Freezing Adventure. More efficient CPU usage and faster texture rendering were also expected.
The patch has 14 GB and after installing it, there should not be, for example, an error in the cutscene where the characters were wet out of nowhere. There should also be fewer bugs associated with poor animation and incorrect display of the interface.
Also fixed the issue when analog stick controllers DualSense and Xbox One didn’t respond. Other fixes are noted in Photo Mode, the Left Behind prequel, and accessibility features such as a broken screen magnifier.
