It took a while to get comfortable with the controls, but we enjoyed the stunts even more.

And don’t worry, even if you shoot yourself from a car, you can still remember the car before you hit it. Or you can simply drive up to an existing vehicle that someone has left on the track, keeping both the vehicle’s summoning ability and its stamina. And believe me, it is really difficult to win with a broken four-wheeled favorite.

There were seven cars to choose from, each of which was suitable for something different. small car after the grandmother, she did not last long, but she kept the track like a nail and we immediately liked it. Whereas the racing stinger was really fast and beautiful. But sometimes we flew this car more than we drove it.

Of course, there was also the opportunity to choose a heavier, larger and more comfortable car. But if we were skidding, it seemed that we were riding on a 20-ton block.

How cards were chosen randomly, so it was impossible to determine in advance which car would be the best. Therefore, in order not to risk, we chose the golden mean. But it’s not just about cars.

It often happens that you have to combine driving and flying. You have only one choice of jet horn. Fortunately. The thought that we will have to learn to fly differently is quite painful.

So let’s see how the combination of flying and driving works. for example on the map needle canyon, you start part of the route exclusively at the wheel of a car. Of course, you do not have any restrictions that prevent you from jumping out of the car, but we know from experience that it is not always worth switching to airplane mode. On this track, flying is deliberately separated from driving. After you’re about a third of the way across the map, you’ll come to a noticeable barrier that you need to jump over with your body, and then you’ll have to master the fall and fly combo. You will have to pass part of the route in the air, and then you will reach your destination after four laps.

Of course, we also came across maps where driving and flying were somehow not noticeably separated. So we could fly or drive at almost any time, but the condition was that we pass or fly through the interception point. At first, we didn’t find this type of mod that much fun. But as soon as we mastered the places where in short, it was possible to stand in front of enemies, combined with a grappling hook that you can use to climb any vehicle in sight, we found this mode very interesting and dynamic.

And since we already mentioned the FlatOut name and its mini-games at the beginning, many of the tracks are designed for you to drive as fast as possible, turn your rider into a living projectile at the optimal angle, and perform a few acrobatics. jumps hit the target. The targets were arranged differently depending on the difficulty and scored accordingly.

Traces were also found without goalswhere you flew and flew, and whoever sailed the farthest won. Simple, but surprisingly fun.

Well, then there is another scoring challenge you were hoping for. Destructive derby! And even for this fun part, there were exactly two cards available. Which made us happy because we love to destroy each other’s cars.

Combined with the ability to eject from the car, the task was even better. Because if you are not sitting in the car, you do not count the damage. This means that we were able to lure other hungry people into the body of our car while we they floated through the air and we insidiously made an active car behind our rivals.

And with the right start, we gave them something to do. Every game consisted of 3-4 randomly selected rounds. And in accordance with how we ranked in individual rounds, we were awarded points in the overall standings. The last places on the leaderboard were eliminated in each round. How many times we fought with all our might to show who is the king of the track on the last lap.

Stuntfest was a pleasant surprise. Both graphics and gameplay. The graphics are tolerable and perfectly support the excitement of the game, but due to the minimum requirements, it was clear that the optimization still needed to be finalized. Not that the title stutters or doesn’t work smoothly. But the computer was noticeably taxed, even more so than some of the more demanding games. Unfortunately, there has been no noticeable progress regarding your account level.

There were also no rewards for the game and winnings. And as we know from Fall Guys, rewards are a very important thing. Because we want to show off our skills anytime, anywhere. Since we’ve read that we’ll be able to modify cars, we blame closed tests for the lack of progress, where these important elements may still be missing.
