On Tuesday, March 7, a new edition of the RPG The Outer Worlds from Obsidian Entertainment was released. New version subtitled Spacer’s Choice Edition was released on current generation consoles in the form of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as on PC (Steam).
Before the release, the developers first of all lured with improved graphics and the presence of all additional content. However, as it soon became clear, the game had serious technical problems. Gamers on both consoles and PC i they complain about unstable frameratefreezes and general poor optimization.
It has been revealed that the development of the “extended” version is largely behind Chinese outside studio Virtuos, who also produced the not-so-perfect PC version of Horizon: Zero Dawn in the past. Representatives of Private Division, which covers the new version from the position of the publisher, have already apologized for the problems through their social networks and promised a quick solution.
Our team is working on a patch for PC and consoles to address many of the visual and performance issues reported by players. We really appreciate your patience and will be able to share this and the full list of patch notes with you before the end of next week. https://t.co/xXiMqpiDyX
